Laurie Colwin

I discovered Laurie Colwin earlier this year and can’t believe she had been under my radar! She’s a beloved food writer who published many books, not just centered around food, but often the main character. Her writing is straight-forward and easy-to-read, but also incredibly evocative!

Sure I could sit here and type in every single book of Laurie Colwin's and opine on the merits of each one (and I probably should also do that) but I hope the folks at Rec League are smart enough to pick up a volume of either her nonfiction cooking essays Home Cooking or a novel, and relish in the great style and verve of this domestic sensualist.
