A French75 at the bar at Lure’s Fishbar at 3 pm

Lure is my bar/restaurant of choice but other contenders could be the Odeon, Donahue’s (while still open), or Long Island Bar. But there’s something wonderfully decadent and satisfying about being in a dark, quiet bar in the in between hours of the day with just a few people around. Read a page or two of a book, eavesdrop, people watch, until you’re ready to leave.
